ONE Avocado & Cacao Mousse

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Avocado and Cacao Mousse!

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)

1/4 cup cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)

1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (adjust to your sweetness preference)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1/4 cup coconut milk (or any milk of choice, adjust for creaminess)

Optional toppings: Fresh berries, coconut flakes, or a sprinkle of cacao nibs

Instructions:

1. Prepare the avocados: In a food processor or blender, combine the avocados, cacao powder, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and salt.

2. Blend: Add coconut milk (or your preferred milk) and blend everything until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape the sides of the blender to ensure everything blends evenly.

3. Adjust consistency: If you prefer a thicker mousse, reduce the amount of milk. For a smoother texture, add a little more milk until you reach your desired consistency.

4. Chill: Transfer the mousse to serving bowls or glasses and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to set.

5. Serve: Once chilled, top with your choice of fresh berries, coconut flakes, or cacao nibs for extra texture and flavor.
