ONE Matcha Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp matcha powder (high-quality ceremonial grade)

  • 1/2 banana (frozen for creaminess)

  • 1/2 cup spinach (optional, for extra nutrients)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk)

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (for creaminess and protein)

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional, for fiber and omega-3)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: If you haven’t already, freeze the banana for a creamier texture. If you’re adding spinach, make sure it’s washed and ready to blend.

  2. Blend it up: In a blender, combine the matcha powder, banana, spinach, almond milk, Greek yogurt, and any optional ingredients (like honey, chia seeds, or vanilla extract).

  3. Add ice: If you want a colder, thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again.

  4. Taste and adjust: Taste your smoothie, and if you want it sweeter, add more honey or maple syrup. If it’s too thick, you can add more almond milk.
